FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to us!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that RSVP's are submitted by Sunday, March 1st

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Due to the constraints of city living, we just don't have the space for traditional wedding gifts. In light of this, we have set up a registry to help us save toward our honeymoon - which can be accessed through the registry tab on our site. For those who prefer to give physical gifts, we will always enjoy a good bottle of wine!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony is set to begin promptly at 9:00 am on the Mayor's Balcony. We look forward to seeing you there!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are not keeping it strict, but asking for Daytime Cocktail Attire - Wear skirts, dresses, rompers, jumpsuits, and button downs, jackets and slacks (keep in mind when selecting footwear that the reception will be hosted on a pool deck). Please refrain from jeans, hoodies, tees, sweats and general athleisure. Thank you!!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids; however, we would like our wedding to be an adults only gathering. It will be your time to let loose as well!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will have a room block set at Hotel Nikko San Francisco. For accommodations, please email Steven at sgrant@hotelnikkosf.com - space is limited so please email ASAP to secure a room!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? What about transportation?

Answer

For those who will be driving to the ceremony, there is a public parking garage available for your use at City Hall, although parking availability is not guaranteed. There are also several public parking options located within walking distance of Hotel Nikko San Francisco, including at the hotel itself. Both ceremony and reception locations are also located within walking distance from BART stations (Civic Center and Powell, respectively) and easily accessible via Uber/Lyft or Taxi. We recommend utilizing Taxi or car service to transport between locations.
