We have gone here on a date and it is fun for all ages! A great outdoor activity for family.
Fun fact about the groom… he is really good at long boarding. He has dragged Zoe out to Fort Pickens to long board on the perfectly smooth roads on more than one occasion. We have also stayed here with Spencer’s family in their camper, as this place is perfect for a staycation. If weather permits, this is a wonderful place to explore and hang out for a day.
Downtown is an amazing place for walking around, shopping locally, finding good food, and breweries. It is one of our favorite activities to walk around downtown and try different foods. It is also a great place to find a good window seat and people watch!
A for sure thing about us is that most of our dates revolve around the outdoors. With a bride that always wants to go walk or run trails and a groom that will enjoy anything with fun wildlife, the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola Area holds many amazing places. From National Seashore trails and Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze, to the Wildlife Sanctuary in Pensacola, their is an abundance of places to enjoy the beautiful nature of the area.
Though this might be more of a drive, these trails are loved by us. We both graduated from the University of West Florida and spent a lot of time on these trails since we lived about five minutes from them. Whether we were running on the trails, taking a Halloween haunted hike on the trails, or taking our first dog Kenny out for his favorite types of walks, the trails never disappointed and were always a beautiful escape. Along with exploring the trails on foot, the trails also have an entrance for mountain biking, which is another entertaining way to explore West Florida.
This is a brewery that is about a five minute drive from Downtown Pensacola, right across from McGuire’s Irish Pub. In the brewery there are games that adults and children would enjoy, along with outdoor and indoor seating. It is an amazing place for a chill afternoon or evening after exploring downtown.
Alga is another one of our favorite breweries and has hosted our Wedding party for a couple game nights/hang out sessions. This brewery also provides games to be enjoyed and has a food truck outside that sells the best burgers in Pensacola, Brown Bagger.
