Yes! The ceremony will take place outdoors. The ceremony and reception space is a mix of grass and soapstone; please choose shoes accordingly. Dinner will be served under an outdoor tent with a view of the lake. Guests will also have access to the Taughannock Inn.
If it rains, the ceremony will be moved under the outdoor tent at the venue.
Not at all! We are planning events throughout the wedding weekend for guests staying in town for the holiday. If you're free, we'd love for you to join us!
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Ithaca Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn) for your convenience. If you prefer other accommodations, several well-known hotel chains are within walking distance. You can find a list of these nearby hotels, along with their locations, on our website. Downtown Airbnbs are also a great option if you’re looking for something more private or unique.
Yes, we will be providing buses from the Ithaca Commons downtown to and from the wedding venue. More details will be shared on our website closer to the date.

Or they take cash, $1.50 per ride for adults, $0.75 for seniors, and children under 17 ride for free. - Ithaca Bikeshare, a pedal-assist bike that costs $1.50 to unlock + $0.25 per minute or $25 per day. In August, you can expect highs around 80°F and lows around 60°F. Rain is always a possibility, so we recommend packing a light raincoat and weather-appropriate shoes just in case.

We also have our beloved Wegmans, which is about a 5-minute drive off the commons.
There is a wine and spirits store just off the commons called Sam’s Wine and Spirits. If you are looking for cultivated wine, there is a store on the commons called The Cellar d’Or Wine, Cider & Spirits. If you're looking for beer, seltzer, or cider, there's a store on the commons called Common’s Market Convenience Store.
