We're getting married!

We were both raised in Ithaca, NY, and first crossed paths in the hallways of Ithaca High School’s band room and on the Wednesday night ski bus to Greek Peak. Sean always had a crush on Zoe but never worked up the nerve to ask her out. Years later, after college, we ran into each other in downtown Ithaca, and what started as a casual conversation quickly turned into a string of late-night chats that neither of us anticipated. After a few trips between Washington, DC, and Philly, we turned our friendship into something more. Through years of weekend getaways, long phone calls, and the occasional DC or Philly traffic delay, we made long-distance love work, even through the pandemic. In 2022, Sean moved to Philadelphia to join Zoe and Charles. Our relationship grew stronger through life’s highs and lows. Whether cheering on the Eagles, discovering new favorite restaurants, or turning an ordinary night into a spontaneous adventure, we found joy in the everyday moments. Along the way, we added our baby Seal, whose nightly antics with Charles have made our home even more filled with love and covered in fur. In October 2024, Sean proposed to Zoe at Lydgate Beach on Kauai, pulling off a perfect but somewhat anticipated surprise. With the waves crashing at our feet, Sean got down on one knee, and Zoe’s face lit up as she said, “Yes.” The moment was filled with love, joy, and just the right touch of serendipity. And now, here we are, ready to start our next chapter together. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
