Zoe was born and raised in Delaware to Kathy and David Zabel and is the oldest to three younger siblings. Zoe moved to Texas to attend TCU majoring in journalism and graphic design and she never left Texas! She is a lover of all things pink and is an overly involved dog mom to Miller. She works full time at Gartner as a content manager building c-level executive conferences for CIOs. She lives in Fort Worth and is frequently found with a spicy margarita and trying out a new recipe or resturant! She also has a lifestyle blog Styled Zebra she enjoys in her spare time. Pierce was born and raised in Arlington, Texas to Lori and Jimmy Pitstick. He is the youngest of two older siblings. He went to TCU and majored in environmental science and is now working as the head of sales for his brother's professional landscaping and tree service company, Price Right Trees, in DFW. He loves all things football and sports and is a frequent golfer and now pickleball player. He also enjoys being outdoors and hunting and loves to hunt duck.

Zoe and Pierce met their senior year at TCU. Zoe was living with her best friend Carley and two other girls and moved into the house right next door to Pierce and his roommates (Evan, Austin, and Preston). They met in May of 2017 in his front yard and the two houses became fast friends and were quickly inseparable. Pierce and Zoe were best friends and always had a little something extra going on that everyone could see but them. They didn’t start dating until April 2019.

Pierce put together the sweetest proposal with all our family and friends on April 2nd 2022. My parents were in town and Pierce planned a little walk down memory lane with my sister bringing me back to all our favorite places in Fort Worth where we fell in love. My first letter was delivered to me via FaceTime by my best friend and college roommate Carley who introduced us. We went back to the street where we lived on our senior year at TCU where our friend Tanner was waiting for me with a letter from Pierce. Next, my sister took me to Joe T's where another friend Wyly was waiting for me with another letter from Pierce. Joe T's is is where we had our unoffical first date senior year at TCU years before we started dating. It was the night Pierce realized how speical we are together. The last stop was the Fort Worth Stockyards where another friend Evan was waiting and walked me down to Pierce where he proposed with all our family and friends watching. It was the best day and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Fort Worth!
