Blue Lake Casino & Hotel

We have reserved a block of rooms at Blue Lake Casino, which is the closest hotel to the venue and only hotel in Blue Lake. If you plan to get a hotel, this is the best option as the next closest hotels are in Valley West Arcata and we do not recommend this area. For added convenience, the Blue Lake Casino offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport for all guests. If any guests need a ride, please contact the hotel at least 48 hours in advance so it can be arranged.

If you are not wanting to stay at the Blue Lake Casino Hotel, there are plenty of airbnbs in Arcata, and McKinleyville. Arcata can be fun, for walkability to farmers market on Saturday morning and nice forest hikes in Redwood Park. Again, we do not recommend booking hotels in Valley West region of Arcata.

Flight

ACV- California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport

We have a small airport nearby in McKinleyville, CA which is about a 15 min drive from Blue Lake Casino. It's pretty reliable but cancellations and delays due to fog are common this time of year. We recommend arriving on Friday to avoid missing the festivities. The next closest airports are in San Francisco and Medford. Both of which are 4+ hours drive from Humboldt County. Unless you plan to arrive several days in advance we do not recommend these airports Rental cars are available at the airport as well.
