Four hours later, several cribbage victories to her name and cheeks sore from smiling so much, Zoe thought maybe, just maybe, this guy could be her one. ...Geoff drove thirty minutes to the ferry, took the Bainbridge Island to Downtown sailing, and drove another 30 minutes to Prost!, a bar that Zoe had recommended. He was wearing his usual, a button down, chinos, and Sperrys. Parking was rough. It was raining. Four hours later he had been hustled in cribbage and heard as many political opinions as you can see in a week of news cycles. He had never had a better first date. Fast forward to May 3, 2019. Given our ever shifting move date to Hawaii and Geoff's crazy deployment schedule, or lack thereof, we decided to elope. With our immediate family, we married on the rooftop of Seattle Municipal Court. We missed the opportunity to celebrate, laugh, dance, and commemorate our marriage with YOU, our closest friends and family. We know Hawaii is not close, but we happen to know it is paradise, and what better to do in paradise than celebrate with all of the people we love?
