Home to Bowdoin College (Eric's alma mater). Picturesque downtown with shops and great restaurants.
Reid State Park
Classic rocky Maine coastline with sandy beaches. Only 30 minutes from The 1774 Inn.
Five Islands Lobster Co
Iconic Maine lobster spot with lovely views! Home of Zoë and Eric’s favorite lobster roll.
Portland
Approximately one hour from The 1774 Inn. The Old Port has lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Our favorite restaurants: Scales, Street & Co, Fore Street, Bar Futo, and Mr. Tuna (food truck often on the Eastern Promenade) Our favorite spots for drinks: Bissell Brothers Brewery, Après, Austin Street Brewery, Lone Pine Brewery, Lincolns, and LFK (a Rob and Maria favorite too!)
