The Wedding Website of Zoë Alexandra Heflin and Brian Sellen McGrane
Here are our suggestions for travel accommodations in our area. If you want to be close to the wedding venue and not have to worry about renting a car, stay in Seattle. If you don't mind driving around and prefer to be out of the hustle and bustle, but maybe closer to us, stay more North near Everett :)

Flight

Paine Field (PAE)

This is the best place to fly into, a great way to skip the traffic around Tacoma and Seattle. This airport is new and very small though, so it may not be an option for a lot of direct flights.

Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Also referred to as Sea–Tac Airport or Sea–Tac, is the primary commercial airport serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It shouldn't be hard to get a flight into here, we prefer Alaska for domestic flights (try the cheese plate!), though most all airlines have options. It is also very easy to get on the LightRail from the airport which can take you right into Seattle! Otherwise, they have an area for Lyft drivers to find you, and a huge rental car building as well.

Train

Everett Amrak Train Station (EVR)

A more northern Train station option for those traveling on the West Coast

Train

Seattle Amtrak King Street Station

The larger more popular train station in Seattle, located near CenturyLink Field and the International District!

Travel Note

Lyft

A lot of you out of towners will probably opt for a rental car option, but if you are poking around Seattle, especially, finding new parking spots can be a drag. We recommend downloading the Lyft app if you do not already have it, and that is great to just get around for short distances if you do not feel like driving yourself!

Hotel

The Arctic Club Seattle - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Temporarily Suspended

700 3rd Avenue
Seattle, WA 98104
 (206) 340-0340

This is a great Seattle place! The building basically started its life as a bar. In late 1907, 2 tycoons who'd made their fortune in the Klondike Gold Rush established a social club called the Alaska Club along with other Arctic explorers as a place to drink and reminisce on old times in the Arctic. The bar is really fun and has that grand feel to it, and if you can peek into the ballroom, it's quite the site to behold!

Hotel

Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle

411 University Street
Seattle, WA 98101
 (206) 621-1700

This place is very centrally located in Seattle for all the fun things! We usually pop in during the holiday season as they have the Festival of Trees here or Gingerbread festivals to encourage the holiday spirit!

Hotel

Hotel Sorrento

900 Madison Street
Seattle, WA 98104
 (206) 622-6400

This is a fun old place. We've been here for one of their "silent reading hours". A fun historic place within walking distance of plenty of activities to keep you entertained when not committed to fun wedding things!

Hotel

The Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel

1007 1st Avenue
Seattle, WA 98104
 (206) 624-4844

This is where the bride and groom will be staying over the weekend. The circa-1901 building that houses The Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located across the street from where the Great Fire ended and once served as the Alaska Gold Standard Mining offices and the treasurer’s office for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition during the Klondike Gold Rush. This lovely hotel is less than a mile away from our wedding venue, and also very close to quite a few Seattle attractions such as the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Place Market, The Great Wheel, and lots of tasty bars and restaurants!

For all the days along the way
