We'd love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!) We know a lot of things are up in the air right now, and we hope everyone is safe and healthy so ideally by November everyone will have had the chance to get their vaccines and be safe to travel! Please RSVP by September 19, 2021 via our RSVP section here on the website. If we do not hear back from you by then, we will assume you will not be attending.
The ceremony will be short and sweet and begin shortly after 3pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to settle in and find a seat.
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire! We do want you to feel comfortable though, so feel free to bring your dancing shoes! The ceremony and reception are both indoors, but temperatures will dip a bit at night, so bring an extra layer for once the sun goes down!
This venue is in Seattle, and has no specific assigned parking lot. There is also a home Seattle Seahawks divisional football game a few blocks away from our venue that starts a couple hours before our wedding, so parking will be difficult and/or expensive in garages nearby. We highly encourage using ride-share services, such as Lyft, as November weather in Seattle may not be the best to take a stroll in. There are several lots and garages nearby that charge by the hour. Other lots and garages may be found at www.downtownseattleparking.com . This website details where all of the garages and lots are and the different rates for each. Also, street parking is FREE in Seattle on Sundays! yay!
Children are welcome! Just let us know in your invitation if they are going to be joining in on the festivities, it's also helpful if you can add if you will need a highchair for the reception!
If your invitation says, "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you in order to keep our guest list on track and our table seating organized. Please feel free to e-mail (zoe.alexandra5@gmail.com) or text (206.965.5801) with any questions!
We will not be providing transportation however, Seattle offers many options! There's public transport on the busses, and we often use ride-share services such as Lyft! There are many hotels close by, so if you're staying nearby and the weather is right, you could probably just walk on over.
You bet! We will have a delicious food prepared by Ravishing Radish fit for all, beers and wines as well as Cupcake Royale cupcakes!
As the bride is a finicky eater, there will be Gluten Free and Vegetarian options available. If you have further concerns, please email (Zoe.alexandra5@gmail.com) or text Zoë (206.965.5801).
Yes, you'd better get ready to boogie! Of course, we will have dancing. We have arranged for a DJ that will help you dance your tush off!
Zoë will be joining the McGrane Clan.
Autumny-Winter in the Seattle area can be fairly mild, but also wet. It's always a good idea to layer up and water/wind proof clothing (especially with a hood) is ideal. Also, bring comfy shoes as you can easily walk around to enjoy the sites in the area. For the wedding itself, don't worry about dealing with your winter weather gear, we will have coat racks ready and waiting for you at our venue :)
While we hope that you respect our wishes for an unplugged ceremony, but for all other events we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #McGraneFoundHisDane so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
We are monitoring all safety precautions and updates to travel restrictions and crowd gatherings. So far we are going ahead as scheduled for November, and requiring anyone who is still attending to be fully vaccinated in time for our celebration. Also, many places in the Seattle area have started requiring proof of vaccination status to enter their buildings, so be sure to bring your card with you or a digital copy of it on your phone! Any updates or changes will be posted on this website ASAP.
If you are unable to travel to Seattle for whatever reason, and would still like to see the ceremony, simply let Zoë know by e-mail (Zoe.alexandra5@gmail.com) or text 206.965.5801 and she will make sure you get a link to the streaming of the ceremony.
Some of you may have noticed there is a home Seattle Seahawks game on November 21, about 3 blocks from our venue. The game starts at 1:25, so a lot of the festivities for that should be over by the time you all start arriving to venue closer to 3:00. However, this could make parking difficult as well as getting a Lyft, so please plan accordingly.
