Lynnessa is my person….. she has been my ultimate ride or die since the 4th grade. Having a true friend for over 30 years is a gift. She’s seen me at the best and worst of times; through triumphs and failures. She’s been there through breakdowns and breakthroughs; literally saving my life more times than I can count. Lynnessa supports me unconditionally and is someone who I can be totally honest with. I love Lynnessa like a sister and the times we’ve spent together have become some of my favorite moments. I am excited to have her as my Matron of Honor!

Loomis and I met while working at a local hospital in 2011. I was fresh out of nursing school while Loomis was the most experienced nurse on the unit. Loomis was blunt and I found her to be intimidating. She made me trip over my words and somehow I always came across looking like an idiot. I started being sickening sweet and nice to her. My “kill em with kindness” routine was hard to resist and I won her over in the end. We’ve been besties ever since! She has shown me unwavering support and has been a role model to me. I can always count on her to make me laugh and remember what is important. We bond over our love for cats, amazing Mexican food and tours of botanical gardens during Christmas. I can’t wait to see her again and have her be a part of my big day!
Amber SwinkAmber Swink

Amber is Mike’s baby sister that is coming from North Carolina for the wedding. She is wildly funny and is easygoing. Amber brings fun and adventure to every event and is best known for being clumsy and frequently falls over her own feet. There is a gap in ages between Mike and Amber so he had the responsibility of looking after her growing up. They have been close all their lives and she still has the nickname “brother” for Mike. Amber has made me feel at ease from the first time we met. She welcomed me into the family without giving it a second thought and for that I am grateful. I can’t wait for her to be my official sister-in-law!

Jonathan and Mike met 15 years ago when Jonathan started as an apprentice at the tattoo shop. Jonathan has been a trustworthy and reliable friend to Mike and coming in clutch over the years. He is not just a best friend but considered a brother. Jonathan has worked hard over the years to build up a loyal customer base and is the owner of his own tattoo shop. He is a dedicated father and loves spending time with his kids. Jonathan is also a master foosball player and beats Mike on a regular basis.
Marcus GoodeMarcus Goode

Marcus and Mike haven’t known each other long but have grown to be close friends. He has always been supportive to Mike and his career. Marcus is laidback and has an easygoing attitude and doesn’t let things ruin his mood. Marcus also works alongside Mike and Jonathan as a tattoo artist. He has an eye for detail and great technical skills. He is amazingly creative and ensures that each tattoo is something the client can be proud of and excited to show off to friends. We are counting on Marcus to get everyone on the dance floor during the wedding reception!

Malik is a lighthearted jokester and is the life of the party. Mike and him worked together for several years doing drywall work. They became fast friends while being side by side all day. While they don’t spend as much time together now, Mike still values his friendship and drywall days with Malik. We are relying on Malik to make the wedding reception memorable for everyone!
