Why did y'all chose Pickleball?

Answer

Our second date was at Society Yards Pickleball, a place that holds so much meaning for us. It’s only fitting to revisit the spots that brought us closer together. If you know Zinnia, you know she’s all about wine. If you know Phil, you know he’s a whiskey kind of guy. So, we thought—why not combine Wine + Whiskey + Pickleball? It’s the perfect recipe for fun, connection, and a little friendly competition!

Dress Code for Pickleball?

Answer

We recommend wearing comfortable, breathable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement. Think lightweight tops (like tank tops or short-sleeved shirts), athletic shorts or skirts, and supportive pickleball or tennis shoes for the best experience. For those not planning to play—first off, we’re sorry to say this, but you suck! (Just kidding… kind of.) Feel free to dress casual and comfy.

What if i don't know how to play pickleball?

No problem at all! This event is all about having fun, and beginners are more than welcome. If you’ve never tried pickleball before, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a shot and see what it’s all about!

Nope! Everything you need will be provided—just bring yourself and get ready to have some fun!

When is the wedding?

We’re planning a private intimate destination ceremony in Rome. Shortly after we return, we’ll celebrate with a reception. Check Special Dates Page or Save the Dates that have been mailed. Stay tuned for more details—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Although we have not decided if we will have a bridal party since we are planning for a destination wedding: Mint Green Dress -- Green is Zinnia's favorite color. Navy Suits -- Blue is Phil's favorite color
