You can spend all of your time in Rome exploring the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums & Gardens, St. Petersburg Basilica, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Catacombs of Rome, the Spanish Steps, & the Trevi Fountain.
Civitavecchia is Rome's cruise port just 10-20 min north of Santa Marinella. It is a prime option if you are interested in booking a cruise before or after the wedding!
You can rent a car or utilize the super-efficient train system to travel further south along the Amalfi Coast, stopping in Naples on the way to eat some of the best pizza of your life.
Other key stops are Sorrento (get the limoncello!), Island of Capri (take a ferry for the day or stay a couple nights), and the oh-so-beautiful town of Positano. The views & beaches are endless and it will be the trip of a lifetime.
