We met at work. Our store manager introduced us as he was showing me the store. He said “let me introduce you to this handsome devil”. I will never forget those words. I said to my self “he is handsome”. I worked as a cashier at that time. He started coming to my register everyday. We had nice little chats, I couldn’t help to smile every time I saw him. One day as I was walking to my break he saw me and pull a little paper out if his pocket and said “here is my phone number” and he smiled and left. I did text him the same day… And the rest is history.

We had our newly engaged friends come over to visit us from out of town. Dave said we were going to celebrate their engagement at home, because we had to work that day. I was not feeling well at work and came home early. Took a nap while our friends arrived. When I woke up, I was in my lounge clothes! I welcomed our friends. Immediately Dave said let’s go to our balcony to celebrate. When he opened the door there were rose petals and his guitar. I didn’t know what was happening. Then he sat me down and played “Can’t take my eyes off you”. I had all the feelings at that moment. Then he kneeled on one knee and said the sweetest words. And of course I said YES and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
