We have decided to take a new last name! When deciding on whose last name to take or not take, we came across a dilemma. We both didn't want to give up our given last names, and we didn't want to hyphenate them, so we thought it would be meaningful for us to pick a new one! After a lot of research and back and forth, we decided on Zeker. In Dutch, Zeker means absolute certainty and we knew that we are absolutely certain about our love, our future, and each other. It was a perfect fit, and we are so excited to share this extremely special thing in our new lives with all of you!

After Noah's parents had headed out after college orientation, he wandered over to the cafeteria to grab some food. While he was eating alone, a girl asked if she could sit with him. After they had finished eating she asked him to come over and play ping pong at the dorm, promptly texting her roommate (who was running errands at the moment) to come and meet the cute boy. Eventually, she got back and after he saw her he knew he needed to get to know that girl. Over the course of a few late-night talks, they both knew they had found someone special. From that day forward they were inseparable.
