FAQs

If you have any questions other than the ones listed here, text Stormy/Zjane at 808-342-6460.
Question

Who the heck is Zjane?

Answer

It's Stormy.

Question

Who the heck is Zayne?

Answer

That's Deckard.

Question

Why do you call each other by nicknames instead of your real names?

Answer

We gave each other nicknames when we met, under the premise that we would never have to speak to the person that we gave that nickname to ever again. Whoops. Also, our names look very similar when written next to each other and Zayne is dyslexic.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our reception is a masquerade ball. Wear your most extravagant attire with a matching mask. I understand that many of us are from the midwest, but please no cowboy boots or denim.

Question

What does one wear to a masquerade ball?

Answer

We want your outfit and mask to match as if they were made to be worn together. Please no paper masks from Party City. Here is a link to a Pinterest board for ideas of what to wear. https://www.pinterest.com/janie0607/masquerade-vibes/

Question

Where should I get my mask?

Answer

Here are some of my favorite Etsy shops for masks. I also have my pinterest list of ideas if you'd like to do your own searching. Please keep in mind that if you order a mask off of Etsy, these are small businesses often run by one or two people. Be kind to the sellers and order your masks with plenty of time to get to you. Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then by all means yes! If it does not, then we'd prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids-- we really do. But we'd like our wedding to be a night off for you. Relax, have some drinks, and book a sitter.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We have sent the dates and will be sending formal invitations in June 2022. Please RSVP by July 31, 2022.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here on the website! You can find it by clicking on the registry button.

Question

Why are vaccinations required?

Answer

For the safety of the bride, and any other immunocompromised guests, we do require that you are fully vaccinated two weeks before attending our wedding. For those guests who are ineligible for the vaccination, we require a negative COVID-19 test a week before the wedding, so please plan accordingly. Thank you for being considerate of the safety of everyone attending our wedding.
