We're so excited to celebrate with you!

In November 2015 when we were both freshmen in college, the PRIDE of Missouri State Marching Band took us on a trip to Disney World to march in the Festival of Lights parade. We met through a mutual friend that was in color guard with Zjane and went to high school with Zayne. Zjane thought that Zayne's haircut looked like a cartoon character named Deckard, while Zayne remembered Zjane's odd name and connected it to the love interest from Odd Thomas, Stormy-- hence the nicknames. We spent the Disney trip together in the same group, and when the trip ended we went our separate ways for a few months. In the fall of 2016 when marching band started up again, so did our friendship. After a few movie nights together, we realized we cared less about the movies and more about being together. We started dating in September 2016, and were engaged February 2020, and now we'll be married in October 2022.
