How We Met

Mr. Steal Your Girl..

Angelica & Isaiah first met in March of 2016 at an Irish pub with friends they had in common. They were all there to watch a UFC fight and Angelica was actually on a date with another guy! (Things obviously didn't work out between her and the other guy..). This is where the nickname of "Mr. Steal Your Girl" for Isaiah came from. After that, they kept running into each other at different events since they hung out with the same group of friends. Eventually Isaiah asked Angelica's friend, Jade, if he could have her phone number and as the story goes, the rest is history.. One dog, one house and one proposal later, here we are! Isaiah and Angelica have spent the last 4 years growing, learning, crying, laughing and most of all loving each other and they can't wait to start this new chapter in their lives.

The Proposal

Smooth Sailing

Isaiah, Angelica and Angelica's family all went on a trip to Hawaii for Angelica's 30th birthday. The evening of her birthday, they all went on a sunset dinner cruise where Isaiah had planned for months to propose. The plan was for everyone to eat dinner and head up to the top deck to take photos at sunset. This was not out of the ordinary at all because if you know the Villarreal women, you know they love a good photo opp. Angelica's sister, Sarah told her she wanted to get some photos of Angelica looking out at the sunset. After a few pictures, Angelica turned around to the surprise of a lifetime.. Isaiah was on one knee (trying not to fall over from the rocking of the boat) and proposed. It was like a fairy tale. After finally catching her breath, Angelica of course said "Yes"! The entire ship was crowded with people cheering, clapping and taking photos. Later, they finished the night with a fireworks show. It was a day that they will never forget!
