This is a great hotel right on campus and across from our reception venue if you want a quick walk back at night!

Flight

Dane County Regional Airport (MSN)

This airport is in Madison and the most convenient, however typically has had higher travel costs to fly into. Uber or car rentals are available. If you are staying at The Edgewater Hotel, a shuttle may be available - see details below.

Flight

Milwaukee International Airport (MKE)

MKE may be a cheaper option to fly into, but is about an hour and a half from Madison. They do offer car rentals and you may be able to find an Uber to Madison. We also recommend checking the Badger Bus system if you need travel from Milwaukee to Madison.

Train

Badger Bus

The Badger Bus system is a great way to get from MKE Airport to Madison for about $25/ticket. It is a coach bus that will pick you up at the airport and drop you off in the middle of campus. You can put one luggage bag under the bus for free per person and bring a carry on bag.

Once you land at MSN, you can call 608.535.8200 to get picked up and get car service to The Edgewater Hotel. You cannot request this in advance and is based on availability. Car service is also available during your stay from The Edgewater Hotel to a 2-mile radius, including The Discovery Building (our reception venue). Call the same number listed above to check availability. Car service runs from 6am-10:30pm daily.
