Flight
For those traveling from the USA, this is the closest airport to fly into, about a 45 minute drive from where you’ll be staying in Provence (the St-Remy area). Some cities do not fly direct to this airport and may require a connection.

This is another option for flights, though Nice is about 2 hours and 45 minutes from where you’ll be staying in Provence.
Rental Car
Provence is home to many beautiful villages and seaside towns throughout the region. If you want to uncover the best of what this magical place has to offer, we highly recommend renting a car during your time in the South of France. It is the easiest way to get around and best way to see all the unique hidden gems in the area. There are car rental companies conveniently located at the airport.
Train
We only recommend this option if you plan to hunker down in the town you are staying. From Marseille airport, catch the shuttle bus (line L91) to Marseille Saint-Charles station. It runs every 10-20 min and is 25 min ride, ~€10. Then it’s ~35 min to Avignon TGV, and a 20 min taxi from there. There are taxi stands outside the station (more info below).
Train
We LOVE Paris and think this would be a fun first stop while you get used to the new time zone. From Paris, you can take the TGV to Avignon TGV station, ~2h40min-3h direct, then 20-30 min drive/taxi to St-Rémy or Eygalières. You can rent a car right at the Avignon TGV station or there are taxi stands outside (more info below).
Travel Note
Taxi Radio Avignon: Their phone number is 04 90 82 20 20, and they’re available 24/7. There’s also a taxi stand right outside the TGV station if you just want to walk up and grab one. Roughly €70-75.
House Or Rental
Airbnb is always a great option if you prefer more of an home-style accommodation instead of a traditional hotel. They are also great if you’d like to have a pool! There are plenty of options at various price points in Lamanon, St-Rémy, and the surrounding areas to choose from. Book sooner rather than later. The good ones go fast. The wedding venue is in a tiny town called Lamanon, if you want to book something close!
