Kasra Persian Grill
Kasra Persian Grill (Halal) is one one of Farah and Zameer's favorite restaurants. The restaurants is about 5 minutes from the Hilton Westchase. Their favorite combo is the Beef Kubideh with the Chicken Barg, half cranberry rice, half salad. The humus and hot eggplant appetizer are worth the splurge!
Aga's Restaurant & Catering
Agas (Halal) is the best Indian/Pakistani restaurant in America. People fly in specifically to eat here. Our personal favorites are the Bhel Puri, Chicken Lollipops, the Goat Chops (these are the best you will find), the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, biryani (any meat), and garlic naan. The restaurant is about 10 minutes from the Hilton Westchase and the Hilton Garden Inn Sugar Land.
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse - Galleria
Pappas Brothers Steakhouse (not halal) is the best steakhouse in America. Unfortunately they are not open for lunch and so might be hard for anyone to attend with the timing of the events but in case you do have time or ever come back this is a great spot!
Taste of Texas
This is a true Texas Steakhouse. Unlike Pappas it is open for lunch. It offers as good quality as Pappas but in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Tourão
Tourao (Halal) is a Brazilian churrascaria. Food and service are great. Located about 25 minutes from the Hilton Westchase.
Chama Gaúcha
Chama Gaucha is the number 1 ranks Brazilian churasacaria in Houston. Everything about this place is world class. Located 10 minutes from the Hilton Westchase.
Houston Museum District
Houston is home to some of the best museums in the world. The museum district has 19 museums to choose from. One of our favorites is the museum of natural science.
Hermann Park
Hermann park is one of the largest urban parks with over 440 acres. There are great trails for walking and exploring!
Memorial Park
Memorial park is a beautiful park to explore nature right in the middle of the Houston Financial District. One of our favorite parks.
The Galleria
If you are looking to get some shopping done or get some good food the Galleria mall is a short distance from the Hilton Westchase. Tons of restaurant in the area as well.
NASA Johnson Space Center
"Houston, we have a problem." The famous NASA mission control center is in here in Houston. Roughly a 45 minute drive from the Hilton Westchase. For space enthusiasts this is a treat!
Xtreme Off Road Park and Beach
This is about an hour to an hour and a half from the Hilton Westchase but it is a fun day of ATV riding!
