What is the best way to get to Taormina?

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is located in Taormina, located on the island of Sicily off the coast of Italy. Catania is the nearest city with an airport. Our venue is Villa Mon Repos Taormina. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place here!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we do loveee your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let loose with us on our day!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we love a big party, this will be an intimate celebration, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Arrival by taxi or rental car is suggested. Most hotels in the area will be no more than a 5-10 minute drive. While you may have booked an accommodation that is very close to the venue, arrival to the venue is not walkable, as the road leading to it has two way traffic with no room for foot traffic.

Are there accommodations?

Answer

While we do not have a hotel block reserved (this is not a customary offering in Sicily), we do have a list of hotels that we recommend which can be found on the "LOGISTICS" page. The hotels listed are all near the venue! You may also consider looking at Air BnB options in addition.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Black tie attire for the wedding and cocktail attire for the welcome party. The welcome party theme is "Sera Siciliane" (a Sicilian Evening) so we would love to see you styled with some European, Italian Summer flare.
