When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is October 31, 2021. You can RSVP directly on this website, under the "RSVP" tab. Type in your first and last name as shown on the invitation.

Question

Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel and vice versa?

Answer

The hotel does not offer a shuttle from the airport. We are working with different transportation companies to offer discounted prices for shuttle services. Check back to the "Travel" tab to see updates.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a reserved block of rooms for our guests. This allows you the freedom to book your travel accommodations according to your preferences. We've found that using the official Barceló website provided the most economical rates. Refer to the "Travel" tab for specific details on booking your accommodations at the Barcelo Maya Grand Resort.

Do I have to stay at the Barceló resort?

Answer

While you do not have to stay at this resort, we HIGHLY recommend it so that you can avoid paying the day-pass rate of $80-$110 per person per day.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code for each event?

I have dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please include your dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We only ask that you share our special day with us but if you're thinking of giving us a gift, we kindly request envelopes only.

Where are the wedding events taking place?

Answer

All of the wedding events will take place on the Barceló Maya Grand Resort property. All event locations are within a close walk. Check back to this website under the "Events" tab for the exact location and time.

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures to their own social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag so we can keep track of all of the wedding pictures! #WhenZakmetSally

Can I bring my children? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We can only accommodate those listed on your invitation, which can be found on the "RSVP" tab.
