Downtown Asheville
Downtown Asheville is fun to explore on foot, you can pop into small local shops, and find plenty of great spots to eat and drink. It’s an easy place to spend an afternoon just walking around and seeing what you discover. The address listed will take you to our go-to parking garage.
Biltmore Estate
Biltmore Estate is a Châteauesque-style mansion built for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. You can take a tour of the mansion and the grounds and feel like you are out in the french country!
Grove Arcade
A historic 1920s indoor shopping arcade that fills an entire block with unique local shops, galleries, and a variety of places to eat and drink inside and along Restaurant Row. It’s a fun spot to wander, browse for one-of-a-kind finds, and grab a bite. For the book lovers, we recommend checking out 'Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne Bar'.
Antique Tobacco Barn
A massive antique mall set in a (formerly) real tobacco auction barn just outside Asheville’s Biltmore area. With dozens of dealers spread across tens of thousands of square feet, it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend a couple of hours browsing for vintage furniture, quirky curios, art, and all sorts of unique finds. (one of Victoria's favorite antique malls!)
Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
A large craft brewery with a taproom, restaurant, and outdoor space. It’s a relaxed spot to grab a beer, take a brewery tour, do some tastings, or hang out. The grounds are beautiful, we love it here!
Lexington Park Antiques
Another for all you antique lovers, this downtown Asheville spot is a treasure trove of vintage finds. From quirky decor to old furniture and vinyl, it’s fun to wander through the booths and see what unique gems you can discover. It is big enough to get lost in there!
Burial Beer Co. Forestry Camp Taproom
This spot is set on a former 1930s forestry camp built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, with it's original architecture still in place. This is one of our favorite microbreweries in Asheville. It’s relaxed, unique, and has great drinks and food.
