We want to make sure all of our family and friends feel safe attending our wedding, so we've decided to postpone a second time to the fall, when we feel confident that vaccines will be widely available. Our new date is Sunday, October 24. We plan to repeat our ceremony in front of all our friends and family and have a reception to follow. Same time, same place, just a new date. We can't wait to see you all there!

We met in 2013, becoming close friends while working together at the University of Rochester Office of Admissions. One year later, our friends orchestrated a series of winter bar crawls throughout Rochester under the guise of bringing us closer together. It worked! We shared our first kiss on the corner of Gregory and Bond streets in the South Wedge after enjoying $3 Genny Bock beers at Lux. We went on our first date a week later, feeding birds on a below-freezing January day at Mendon Ponds Park. Our relationship continued to grow in Rochester, before we embarked on our next journey together in the summer of 2016, moving to Massachusetts after Sarah was accepted to a master’s program. We’ve spent the past three years building a home together in Cambridge, as Sarah made her way through grad school and Zack started a new career. Last January, on another frigid winter day, Zack took Sarah on a hike at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. After Zack revealed the bird seed he had hidden in the car, it was no surprise to Sarah what kind of date this would be. We got engaged that day and have been thrilled to celebrate with family and friends since. We can’t wait to continue the celebration with all of you, this time hopefully in much warmer weather than our other relationship milestones. We’ll see you all in the beautiful Finger Lakes region, right between our hometowns of Binghamton and Rochester!
