Paul and Zack's friendship began in middle school but took off freshman year of high school. Paul and Zack love leaning into a good bit and have an endless list of inside jokes. Today, they continue to laugh about random things and spend time together at breweries, golf courses, and beaches while extending their nearly 9 year snapchat streak.
Meaghan McIntyre

Meaghan is Zack's amazing little sister. Zack and Meaghan loved to play board games, cheer on each other at their sporting events, play bocce ball at the beach, and bond over their love of dogs and chipotle. We both miss Meaghan dearly and know she is watching over us on our special day.
JoJo Lear

JoJo is Zack's oldest friend, going all the way back to first grade! From there, they proceeded to spend elementary, middle, high school, and college together. In high school, they often wore the same outfit to school, coincidentally. Their time together on baseball teams, late nights playing video games, and regular trips to Cookout solidified a lifelong friendship.

Lauren has been Rachel's best friend for almost 10 years. Lauren and Rachel met at UVA orientation and lived together for 4 years. After being inseparable for years, Lauren moved to Germany and Rachel moved to Seattle - DEVASTATING! They love to visit each other and go backpacking or city hopping through Europe.

Alex was Zack's random roommate freshman year at Virginia Tech, and they ended up living together all four years. In college, they spent their time together playing HORSE on the mini basketball hoop, going to football games, and debating different hypothetical sports scenario every week. Today, they hang at a brewery or climbing gym.
Sophia Jessum

Rachel met Sophia at grad school at UW and were instant friends. They love to gossip about their lives and have sleepovers. Sophia and Rachel love a good bit, and every time they talk, it ends in tears of laughter or emotion. Never a dull moment!
Robbie Kountz

Robbie is Zack's work best friend, where they chat daily! They've bonded over their love of sports and food eating competitions (shoutout the chicken nugget power hour). They continue to visit each other wherever they are (DC, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Blacksburg).
Abbey Murray

Rachel also met Abbey at grad school at UW. Abbey was a fellow PhD student who could bond over the woes of life in academia. Abbey often reminds Rachel of a younger version of herself, and they giggle over their similar outlooks on life, silly sense of humor, and mutual love of romantasy books.
Sunny Gupta

Sunny and Zack have been friends since high school - playing and coaching basketball together. When they went their separate ways in college, Sunny would visit Blacksburg and after college, Zack visited Sunny in NYC. Over the last few years, they've spent hours together on the golf course - often buying the same gear from the course's pro shop.

Haley is Rachel's oldest friend (25 years!). They met as neighbors and went to preschool through high school together. Over their many years together, they have played capture the flag, driven around in Rachel's red truck singing, and caught up over drinks like they haven't spent a moment apart. No matter where life takes them, Rachel knows Haley will always be a part of her life.

Yori and Zack's friendship began in elementary school and continued it through middle school, high school, and college. In college, they played basketball regularly and were each others running partners. Since college, they spend their time together on the golf course (where Yori absolutely smokes Zack), chatting and laughing as though they are still living in the same city.
