Swimming
Dang, there’s swimming!?! On a private lake??? Wait, there are houses around the lake that aren’t part of the camp? So it’s not actually a private lake? Still, what a treat! Also, there is a sweet grill area and tons of rad Adirondack chairs by the lake for relaxing and “chilling” as the “kids” say.
Talent Show
Show us or tell us... (We're thinking this is an opportunity to show off your skills, summer camp style! Play an instrument, juggle, tell some jokes, recite your bar mitzvah portion, sing a song (parody), model the latest fashions, or just watch and cheer.)
Vermont-asaurus
On your way to the camp, you will drive past the Vermontasaurus. According to its website, "THE MASSIVE COLLECTION OF SCRAP wood that is vaguely built into the shape of a four-legged creature known as the Vermontasaurus is large enough to have been considered a building at one point." Check out the website and stop for a photo; you'll be glad you did.
Ben & Jerry's Factory
About 75 minutes away is the famed Ben and Jerry's Factory. Perfect for those of you seeking that long strange dip. Just be sure to bring back some Cherry Garcia for us!
Caledonia Spirits Inc.
Caledonia Distillery makes Barr Hill Gin, one of our favorite gins (and not just because of the name!). It's about an hour away from the camp. If you're a fan of craft spirits, specifically gin, you won't be disappointed!
Mount Moosilauke
Ohana is about 30-45 minutes away from the western edge of the White Mountains. There are lots of great hiking trails, and for the more adventurous among you, you can try out Mt. Moosilauke. Have we climbed it? No! But we sure did see it on a map of the area.
