Our story actually begins way back in 2014, when we locked eyes for the first time on the Hebron soccer field as high school students. While we only became friends at that time, we inevitably knew we’d always have eyes for each other from that day forward. We quickly bonded over our love of soccer, our families and friends, our pet animals, music, and the mountains. I especially adored his witty sense of humor and his ability to make me laugh no matter the situation - and of course, his bright blue eyes just sealed the deal. The one thing we remember most was that we always felt so comfortable and calm in each others’ presence, foreshadowing a future relationship unlike any other. 
 Fast forward to the summer of 2020, when COVID was at its peak. We both happened to be living in the DFW area, him having just graduated college and me finishing up at UNT, when we randomly reconnected. Immediately from that point on, we were attached at the hip - just ask my college roommates! Everything felt like it finally fell into place. We realized that the missing piece in both of our lives had always been each other (and our pointer-lab mix, Ruger!) Then, in 2024, exactly a decade from the first time we ever met, we got engaged in Duluth, Minnesota, where Zack was born. It was so special and was the perfect way to start our engagement journey. We are so excited to get married and for all the memories we will make together as The Chamblees!
