The resort we chose is full on All Inclusive! This includes so many perks and amenities, making it a vacation for all! We know it is pricey, but once you are there you will only need to pay for souvenirs, tipping, and any major extra excursions that you choose to do! Reliable and safe transportation from the Cancun airport to the resort can be booked through our booking website. https://requests.paradiseweddings.com/sites/danielle-and-zack/login Code: 0329 If you choose to stay off site, you will need to set up transportation to the resort for any days you plan on coming (including the day of the wedding).
All guests are free to stay anywhere they want! However, we do recommend that guests stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen, as noted in the "Travel" tab. Discounted rates are available through our wedding website. Rates are per person (except for kids under 4), and payment plans are available. If you choose to stay off site, it is $60 per person for a day pass for any day you come to the resort, and this includes the day of the wedding.
The resort we chose is separated into a family friendly section, and adults only section. We want you to have the option to enjoy a vacation with the whole family! We have decided to not include children at the wedding ceremony or reception, however the resort offers 24/7 childcare options, including 1 on 1 or group babysitting at their daycare facility or even in your own room. For questions regarding these options, please contact Danielle or Zack and they can help you get in touch with the right people.
"La Perla" is the adults only (18+) side of the resort. "Paradisus Playa Del Carmen" is the family friendly side. They are both one resort, but separate sides to allow for families to have a more family friendly atmosphere. Adults may travel between the two as needed, but kids are restricted to the "Paradisus Playa Del Carmen" side of the resort.
Yes! When you RSVP to the Reception, you will be asked if you have any special food allergies. We will try to accommodate the best we can, but there is a pre-determined menu for the wedding ceremony. You will not go hungry though, as the resort itself has several food options that are part of the all-inclusive package!
If you are already married and wondering if your spouse was invited... yes they are! We are limiting the event to a small amount of Family and Friends. While plus ones may be an option, please use the RSVP tool to see if you have been given a plus one already, if you have not and are in (real) need of that, please contact Danielle or Zack and we can talk about options depending on seating availability.
We want everyone to be comfortable; it is vacation after all! We ask that our guests dress in Formal Beach Attire (no ties needed). Our reception will take place on the beach immediately following the ceremony, so sandals are completely acceptable if you choose.
No, we are not registered anywhere. We are asking for no gifts from our guests! Your presence is enough for us... REALLY! If you are insistent on getting us gifts, we have set up a registry on this website (just a few tabs to the left), where you can donate any amount you want to our Honeymoon Fund or Moose and Nala's Dog Boarding Fund.
