What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend out of town guests fly into Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. For out of town guests, a car rental is recommended to get around town and to get to Athens.

Should I stay in Athens or Atlanta?

Answer

We will be staying in Athens on Friday and Saturday night to be close to the venue. There is a welcome reception for out of town guests on Friday afternoon that will be in Roswell, GA (about 20 mins north of downtown Atlanta). We expect the wedding reception on Saturday to wrap up around 10p. The drive between Atlanta and Athens is between 75 - 90 mins and can be impacted by traffic.

Can we walk around the gardens?

Yes! Please enjoy the grounds before and during the reception! We selected the Botanical Gardens so that you can enjoy the beauty of fall in Georgia. No food or drinks are allowed along the trails.

Where do I park?

Answer

The on-site parking lot is about 5 mins from the front entrance to The Conservatory. Guests can use the stairs or elevator to get to the front entrance. If you would like to drop off guests before parking, there is a driveway with a turnaround at the front entrance of the venue.

Are kids invited to join?

Answer

Yes! Kids are more than welcome to come. There will be several kid-friendly activities. Please reach out to us directly when you RSVP to let us know if your children will be joining you.

What is the expected attire?

Semi-formal or cocktail attire please.

Are dogs or pets allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, no, Winston will not be joining us :( Dogs and pets are not allowed at the Botanical Gardens.
