Sophie Aron (She/Her)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Study abroad in 2015! We met Sophie during a break in the action during our orientation in New Orleans and three countries and dozens of shenanigans later, we were the tightest of friends. She's now our neighbor about 15 minutes to the north in DC! Hopes for the Wedding: "Boogie!" Sophie knows how to have fun, as evidenced by this photo of her dressed up as the Torah for Halloween when she was in 2nd grade.
Louis Badgett (He/They)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Louis's friendship with Maddy was "preordained" by NCSSM as they were assigned to be roommates - and, as Louis puts it, "as our room became disgusting, our friendship blossomed." Louis was yet another exceedingly gifted theater kid that spent hours with both of us on productions! Hopes for the Wedding: "It may sound cheesy, but I honestly just hope to bask in y’all’s love!! I’m definitely excited to reconnect with old classmates and also to meet the people who I don’t know!"
Kristen Bagley (She/Her)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Kristen was Zack's "junior sister" at NCSSM and lived on Maddy's hall while also being in theater with both of us - safe to say, our lives have intersected many times! Hopes for the Wedding: "I'm excited to spend some time outdoors in such a beautiful location! I hope to eat lots of good food (especially good breakfast foods) and dance a bunch. I definitely also will cry during the wedding itself and am looking forward to shedding tears of joy."
Ally Corbo (She/Her)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: A UNC grad school connection, Ally and Maddy have a bizarrely high number of things in common and as they kept digging into each other's history, the friendship only grew. Turns out they grew up only 30 min apart without ever knowing it! We were honored to be at Ally's wedding in December. Hopes for the Wedding: "I can't wait to meet more of Maddy and Zack's family and friends, have so much fun, and most of all, see these two amazing people declare their love for each other!!"
Mae Davis (She/Her)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Mae was a stage manager extraordinaire at NCSSM and yet another core member of the talented crew that shared a hall with Maddy and shows with both Zack & Maddy in NCSSM theater. She has brought brilliance and magic to their lives ever since! Hopes for the Wedding: "To make beautiful memories with my life long family, to celebrate Maddy and Zack's union, to get really silly and playful hehe."
Lauren Frey (She/Her)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Lauren and Maddy first connected because of their shared work with WomenNC. They later became classmates in their MPH program at UNC and promptly got lost on a Chapel Hill bus route together. Enter Zack for the emergency pickup and cue start of a warm and loving friendship between all three of us! Hopes for the Wedding: "I hope that everybody has so much fun and that someone laughs so hard they pee their pants (but not Maddy or Zack) (and ideally not during the reception) (watch this person end up being me...). I also hope Maddy and Zack have the wedding weekend of their wildest dreams. <3"

Connection to Zack & Maddy: NCSSM over 10 years ago! Shaza lived on the same hall as Maddy and was Zack's closest teammate on the Speech & Debate team; we've been diehard friends ever since. Hopes for the Wedding: "Catching up with old pals, laughing, dancing, and celebrating our fave couple"

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Through Hoof 'n' Horn theater at Duke! We've been graced with Savannah's talent and friendship since her first year of college. Hopes for the Wedding: "Wear something hot and drink some good wine. Make sure Maddy has the absolute lowest level of stress possible."
José Medrano (He/Him)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Zack and José were co-RLAs at NCSSM (like a college RA) and bonded through being expected to be adults on a hallway full of nerds that were all our age. Hopes for the Wedding: "Steal every good wedding idea?" (José is getting married himself in September!)
Adam Schoonmaker (He/Him)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Same NCSSM class! Adam was on stage, behind stage, and all throughout our lives in high school and we're lucky that this hasn't changed much. Hopes for the Wedding: "Celebrate Z&M, help things go smoothly however I can, visit with old friends and make some new ones!"
Tom Vosburgh (He/Him)

Connection to Zack & Maddy: Zack & Tom were both BN Scholars at Duke and hit it off immediately during a prospective student day visit - naturally, Maddy was also a quick friend with Tom the first time she ever visited Duke during her first year at Oregon State. Zack & Tom also lived together during a questionable summer in SC. Hopes for the Wedding: "Fun times with fun people!"
