We’re getting married

At just 15 years old, Zach and Tori first crossed paths at a friend’s birthday party, barely exchanging more than a few words. Not long after, Zach started texting Tori, though she wasn’t too eager to respond at first. Eventually, she decided to answer, and the two began making plans to hang out. After spending a few weeks together, their bond quickly grew stronger, and in a picture-perfect moment at the NYS Fair on the ferris wheel, Zach asked Tori to be his girlfriend the summer before their junior year of high school.

Tori had a dream one night she would be proposed to at Boldt Castle on the 17th of an unknown month, never realizing that Zach had already purchased the exact ring she loved and was secretly planning that very moment. Wanting the day to be theirs alone, he chose not to propose on the 17th, a date tied to a family birthday and wanting a special day to themselves, and instead planned something special during a summer weekend at Wellesley Island with a surprise. On a warm August 18th, Zach & Tori had plans to go to Boldt Castle but she didn’t know what Zach had planned when they arrived there. Two photographers waited in hiding to capture the unforgettable moment he got down on one knee after seven years together. The first to know were Tori’s mom, Bridget, and Zach’s oldest sister, Jessica—who had also been the first two people to know about Zach getting the ring back in June 2024. Adding to the magic, when they returned from the castle, a butterfly circled gently around Tori’s head, as if blessing the beginning of their forever.
