We met one evening at the University of Arizona’s Spring Fling carnival through a mutual friend who played intramural sports with Zach and his crew. Our friend groups instantly clicked, and what started as a casual night out turned into hours of laughter, rides, and games, ending around 4 a.m. with Lauren’s first-ever Krispy Kreme donut. That night, something just felt easy and right, and Lauren knew by Zach's laugh and smile that he was something special. Not long after, Lauren asked Zach on a date at the student union—where we talked for hours over soft drinks (and at times, secretly empty cups), and from that moment on, everything fell into place.
