Camelback Mountain
Phoenix is known for its many hikes and this is one of the most popular hikes in Phoenix. Be warned that this is no walk in the park for a hike. There are two ways up to the peak of the mountain, Echo Canyon and Cholla. Echo Canyon is the steepest hike I have personally ever been on. There is a handrail in the middle of the trial to support yourself as you go up to the top. Cholla is the longer and more scenic route. Piestewa Peak
It's a very steep trail but only 2.3 miles out and back. This is not a light hike; when you think you are getting close to the top, there is another twist to a higher point on the mountain. Great view from the top of the mountain! See the website for more details
Hole in the Rock
Very aesthetic, a short hike. It is a great place to take photos and capture the Arizona terrain. Big Butte Loop is also not far away if you want to get some more miles in and the trail is relatively flat.
DeFalco's Italian Deli & Grocery
Arizona is not especially known for Italian food, but after being in the northeast for the past 2 years, I can confidently say this is the best Italian Deli I have been to. Any of their subs are phenomenal and their Italian sodas are cheap and delicious. My personal favorite is their Philly Cheesesteak.

Once again, another amazing Italian eatery. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all delicious. This is one of the Camacho's go-to weekend meals.
Cocina Madrigal Tacos + Tequila
Okay, okay we know that Mexican food spots from a border state are really what you are excited about. I will admit this place is not traditional Mexican food, as most dishes have a fusion twist. Jess and I have been here and we can confirm that it is absolutely delicious.

Guy Fieri went here for a Diners. Drive-Ins, and Dives episode. Need I say more?
Desert Botanical Garden
The Desert Botanical Garden is a great attraction to take in all of the beauty of the desert.
