We're Getting Married!

Who would have guessed that a small town girl from New Jersey and a big city country boy from Arizona would meet and fall in love in Connecticut? But thanks to technology and the grace of God, this unlikely story came to be. We met on a Christian dating app the weekend after Easter in April of 2023. For our first date, Zach decided to try and woo me by showing me around the prestigious school he attends. We walked around all of the beautiful buildings, went to a small taco shop for dinner (my favorite), and to a fancy wine bar afterwards. We capped off the date driving around the city listening to country music with the windows down. We both knew this had the potential to turn into "the one". We tried our best to stay calm and continue to get to know each other. Over the next 9 1/2 months, we had our ups and downs, but in the back of our minds we knew that God had big plans, and we trusted in Him. We traveled to places like Philly, Washington DC, Boston, NYC, and Phoenix, played lots of chess, went to tons of coffee shops, and talked about what a future together would look like. Above all, we talked about our faith and how we are going to revolve everything around bringing glory to God. Slowly but surely, we realized that our favorite human being was the other person and we did not want to spend our whole lives with anyone else. On Christmas day I flew out to Phoenix to spend the holidays with Zach's family, this was the first time we said those 3 words. "I love you." Little did I know that two days prior Zach shared with his family that he knew I was the one. A month and a half later of continued amazing memories, we journeyed to the top of Rockefeller Center in NYC, and Zach asked me to marry him. There was no thinking. The answer was obvious. We couldn't feel more blessed and joyful to embark on this new journey with God going before us and all of you coming alongside of us. Thanks for being part of our story! God Bless!
