Tasha and Zach's love story began the old fashion way: on Hinge. But this wasn’t just any swipe. Tasha was intrigued by Zach, when she saw a prompt that his sister, Abby, had written him a book titled "Why You Should Date Zach." It was a funny, heartfelt and immediately made Tasha think, "This guy must be a family man." And she was right. Zach, still calls his mom every day. Tasha invited Zach to a pretty forgettable Mexican restaurant where the owner was preparing a pre-arranged signature cocktail for Tasha. What started as a cute date turned into a extremely memorable experience when Zach discovered the signature cocktail was not just a quirky twist on a margarita, but a drink with a rim coated in crushed worm salt. While Zach was processing the unexpected ingredient, he was also processing something much more important. He knew, right then, he had just met the woman he would marry. That night, he called his best friend and shared the news. Tasha, on the other hand, knew by their third date. She didn’t wait to tell Zach; she was certain she loved him, and she let him know right away. The rest, as they say, is history.
Looking sharp, but warm! Blazers and ties. Rompers/long dress- fun colors encouraged! Colorado on November first could be 70 degrees (21 celcius) or there could be a foot of snow on the ground. Check the weather beforehand. There will be blankets provided for the ceremony as it will be outside. We plan on the ceremony being short and sweet.
As soon as you know! We have a limited number, if you know you cannot come we would love to invite additional friends or offer plus ones.
All events will be held in Golden Colorado. If you would like to rent a car ensure that it is 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive. We do not recommend driving to the wedding unless you do not drink at all. The ceremony will be at 7,300 feet. That means 1 drink will feel more like two, and two will feel like floor. We want all of our guests to be safe leaving the venue, as it is at the top of a windy mountain road. There are several options to go from the airport to golden. My favorite is the train. You can take the train for $10 from the airport to Union Station. From Union station you can uber to the Golden area. (An uber from the airport to Golden may cost you upwards of $60. I highly recommend using the train to get halfway there. If you love public transportation you can also switch lines at Union station and take the train all the way to Golden. https://app.rtd-denver.com/route/W/schedule?serviceType=4&direction=Westbound&branch=
Yes! Both the welcome party, the ceremony, and the reception spaces are ADA accessible.

There is limited cell service at the top of the mountain, so be sure to schedule your Uber or Lyft ahead of time. Pickup should be scheduled for 10:05pm. Also, please don’t drink ANY alcohol and drive- the venue is at 7,500 feet, so alcohol hits a little harder up there. The road back down is super twisty, and we want everyone to make it home safe and sound.
