Check out a show at Red Rocks if you have time! Even if you don't have time to see a show, the venue itself is unbelievable and worth stopping by during the day - there are numerous hikes nearby as well!

Rocky Mountain National Park is about 50 minutes from Boulder and offers tremendous hiking and views (for those not as interested in hiking)

Estes Park is a great mountain town right near the entrance of Rocky Mountain NP. It offers tremendous views, a quaint downtown with a lot of shops and the iconic Stanley hotel where they filmed The Shining (you can even stay there if you dare)
