Zach and Maddy "officially" met in 2021 at Sammy’s Hilltop anniversary party, but if you ask either of them, the story really started much earlier when Maddy was bev-carting and Zach (along with his friends) was at a golfing outing. There was flirting, there were laughs, and there was even a moment when Zach very conveniently “forgot” his card at the golf course (which meant Maddy had to message him first, definitely on purpose, if you ask Zach). From that moment on the two became inseparable. As with any great love story, there was a brief plot twist. While Maddy finished up her final year living in Waukesha, the two took a short break — mostly because Maddy was indecisive and very much in denial about how deeply she felt. Zach, on the other hand, always knew. From the very beginning, he made it clear that he wanted Maddy to move straight from Waukesha in with him. Maddy wasn’t quite ready to admit that (or her feelings), but actions speak louder than words. She was coming home every single weekend so the two could spend time together as "friends" of course. And sure enough… that’s exactly what happened. Not long after, Zach and Maddy took their first official trip together to Las Vegas, joined by their families, since they’ve always been family friends. Somewhere between the laughs, late nights, and memories made, Maddy realized what Zach had known all along: this was love. Vegas quickly became “their place,” so it was only fitting that on February 23, 2025, Zach planned the most gorgeous proposal at Wynn — returning to the city where it all truly began. Now, after years of friendship, love, growth, and choosing each other every step of the way, Zach and Maddy can’t wait to begin their forever & celebrate the love that brought them here with the people who mean the most to them.
