Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kayla Cochran and Zachary Gehrig
Sitting on the edge of the Three Capes Scenic Drive, with the stunning Cape Kiwanda as its headland, Pacific City is a peaceful beachfront town offering plenty of outdoor pursuits. Thanks to a natural breakwater, Pacific City’s beach is a favorite spot for surfers and anglers. It’s also the birthplace of Pelican Brewery, located right next to the sand and where the wedding is taking place. If you are looking to see more of the Oregon Coast, below are recommendations.

Lincoln City

Lincoln City

Lincoln City, OR

30 minutes south of Pacific City is Lincoln City. The city is known by some as the "Kite Capital of the World". Lincoln City is also famous for Cascade Head, Drift Creek Falls, fresh seafood, outlet mall, whale watching, candy stores, and glass floats. Glass floats are known throughout Oregon's coast but not as popular as Lincoln City. Volunteers place more than 3,000 glass floats annually along Lincoln City’s 7.5 miles of beaches. Lucky beachcombers get to keep these small pieces of art, so keep a lookout as you walk the beach. In Lincoln City, there are many glass float studios where you can watch a demonstration or make your piece as a souvenir.
