Central Market
We love their cold pressed juices and their bakery selection. Jena didn't know you could love a grocery store so much until she stepped into Central Market. If we are visiting Zach's parents, sometimes we stop and pick up a marinated pork tenderloin to take home for dinner during the week.
Dallas Zoo
Zach once surprised Jena by taking her here. She got to feed some birds and she absolutely loved it.
Dallas Museum of Art
We got caught in the rain a few months into dating and decided to hit this museum.
The Dallas World Aquarium
We went here with Jena's family for her niece's birthday weekend before running off to Houston for a flor show that evening. It's an incredible spot.
Galleria Dallas
Zach and Jena were supposed to go ice skating on their 2nd date. The line was insanely long, Zach's friends Timmy, Hunter, and Michael crashed the failed date. Zach and Jena then went to get cookies and look at Christmas lights. Go shop til ya drop if you have time.
Oni Ramen
We frequent this ramen place after concerts. Zach gets pork tonkatsu, Jena gets 2 orders of gyoza.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
We went here for a date in January 2023 and it's a cool and interactive museum.
Serious Pizza
Another frequented stop after concerts. The pizza slices are larger than your head and never disappoint.
Rocket Fizz Deep Ellum
A cool assortment of drinks, candy, snacks, and other assortments. Lots of their stock is unique, novelty, or a blast from the past.
Niwa Japanese BBQ
This place is a little pricier, but it's an experience. You grill your own food at the table. The filet mignon is fantastic.
