Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

December 21, 2023 If you do not RSVP, you will be marked as declined. The RSVP page of the website will open in October when formal invitations are mailed out. Check back here when you receive your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to be in Dallas around 2:00 and be parked/walking to the venue by 2:30. There is a parking map on the travel page. There is no parking directly at the House of Blues. The venue should allow guests to line up outside or wait inside if there is space to accommodate everyone by 2:30. You will be let in the Cambridge Room at 2:45 to be seated. The ceremony/party will start promptly at 3:00. If you arrive after 3:00, you will not be let in until 3:15 and will miss the ceremony. This day is on an incredibly tight schedule due to the three hour time limit.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We've made it simple. All of our registries link to this Zola website! Just visit the registry tab.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless stated on your invitation, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus ones due to our venue capacity. The number of seats reserved for you or your family will be indicated on your official invitation. Our event is limited to close family and friends.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, we cannot accommodate them due to our limited venue capacity and bar environment. We hope you take this opportunity to have a fun night with the adults.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressing up a band t-shirt and wearing Converses, Vans, or Doc Martens is acceptable and even encouraged. (Elevated concertwear) Otherwise, we'll call it cocktail attire. We recommend jewel tones or metallics. Examples can be found here: https://www.pinterest.com/jenacorley/dress-code-inspo/ Ladies, please steer away from black and white dresses. Men, steer away from burgundy please. If you Google "House of Blues Dallas Virtual Tour" and select Cambridge Room from the drop down menu, you can see our venue and dress accordingly to the vibe what you see there.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, you may take pictures from your seat. But if you block the photographer and videographer we paid for and ruin their pictures or video, Jena might come after you. Just be cool. Pictures are encouraged througout the evening via the Lense App. There will be a QR code on your table to scan. Lense is a disposable camera right on your phone limited to 15 pictures per guest, pictures taken will not be visible until 7:00. The app will notify you when the gallery is live. This is a fun, interactive way for the couple to see the night through your eyes.

Question

Question

One last thing, do you mind learning a song for the couple?

Answer

Please take the time to acquaint yourself with the song Stolen by Dashboard Confessional. This will be the big ending of the night and the more people involved in that moment will make it that much better.
