Question

Are there any dances I should learn?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! We’ll be getting everyone on the dance floor with a couple of fun line dances during the reception. We’d love for you to join in, so be sure to check out the tutorials below. Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is flexible, ranging from sport-casual to formal. We want you to feel comfortable while still looking polished. Think semi-formal attire that could include a nice dress, jumpsuit, slacks with a button-up shirt, or even a suit for those who want to dress up. We encourage personal expression but ask that you avoid anything too casual, like jeans or T-shirts, and anything overly glamorous that might take attention away from the main event!

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 27, 2025.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos or videos be taken during the ceremony. We have hired professional photographers to capture these special moments, and we want everyone to be fully present in the experience with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception. We will be using POV, a disposable camera-esque app that gives you a limited number of photos before you run out of "film". At the end of the night, all photos taken with POV will be available in a shared album. QR codes to get your "disposable camera" will be available during cocktail hour and reception.

Question

What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Barn at Silverstone. 62 Bowman Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be a mostly adults-only event. This will allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the evening without distractions. We hope this gives you the opportunity to enjoy a night out, and we appreciate your understanding!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve put a lot of thought into our guest list, and while we’d love to include everybody, we aren't able to extend an invite to everyone. We ask that only those whose names are on the invite join us for the celebration. This helps us stay true to our vision for the day and celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. We hope you understand, and we’re so grateful that you’ll be there to share this special moment with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 4:00 p.m. There will be plenty of parking and time for you to settle in without rushing. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m., and we ask that you be seated by 4:20 p.m. to ensure everything runs smoothly. We know life happens, but we kindly ask that guests do their best to arrive on time to help us keep the day flowing as planned.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside on a cement patio (no need to worry about your shoes sinking into soft grass). Cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor. The indoor space is air conditioned and the outdoor space is on the same patio the ceremony takes place. The reception will be indoors in an air conditioned space.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue, and it is ADA compliant. You’ll have no trouble finding a spot close by, so you can relax and enjoy the day!

Question

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

We want our guests to feel comfortable and stylish! We recommend classic, timeless looks—think neutral tones, soft pastels, or elegant shades like navy, charcoal, or deep reds. While we encourage you to look your best, please avoid white, ivory, or anything too bold that might compete with the wedding party.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar featuring beer, wine, and signature cocktails chosen by the grooms.

Question

Do you have a room block with a specific hotel?

Answer

We have decided to forgo a room block, but there are plenty of accommodations nearby. We recommend two hotels: Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center and Tru by Hilton Lancaster East. Both are conveniently located just minutes from the venue and offer comfortable stays for our guests.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be providing a shuttle service. However, both recommended hotels are just a short drive from the venue, and parking at the venue is ample and ADA compliant. We encourage guests to carpool if possible or use ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft for convenience and safety.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! However, if you wish to send a gift, you may have it delivered to our home at 336 S Newkirk St Baltimore, MD 21224. A card box will also be available at the reception.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:00 p.m. There is no official after-party, but guests are welcome to enjoy Lancaster's nightlife after the event. We kindly ask that everyone celebrates responsibly!
