Travel By Car

Enjoy a nice scenic road trip driving up the New York State Thruway (I-87) or the Taconic State Parkway. From Long Island to Ticonderoga, this will be approximately 5.5 hours. This can be a great experience driving through the mountains, lakes & charming towns along the way.

Flight

Travel By Plane

Albany International Airport (ALB) is the closest airport. Almost all major airlines fly out of here. I would suggest renting a car for the weekend or you can Uber. The car ride from ALB to Ticonderoga is approximately 1.5 hours.

Train

Travel By Train

If you wish to travel by train, you can board the Amtrack's Adirondack service from NYC Penn Station to Ticonderoga, which offers a scenic route through the Hudson Valley & Adirondack Mountains. This journey is approximately 6 hours.

Hotel

Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn & Suites

There is a room block for all wedding guests to stay at the Best Western in Ticonderoga, New York. To take advantage of the group rate, you can book online by clicking the button "View" below, or you can call the hotel directly. Please mention our wedding when you book. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited. There are also ADA guest rooms available if that is needed. Round trip transportation will be provided at this hotel on the Wedding Day.

Airbnb & Vrbo

There are some great Airbnb and Vrbo options nearby to suit different group sizes and budgets. We recommend looking for rentals in Ticonderoga, Hague, Silver Bay, & Bolton Landing. Please Note: We will not be providing transportation to & from your rental on the Wedding Day. If you need transportation, please go to The Best Western to take the shuttle.

Shuttle Details

A charter bus will be provided on the Wedding Day for guests staying at the hotel. The bus will shuttle between the hotel and the venue, and they are about 10 minutes apart!
