How we met...

1/6/2019

The first discussion was one of excitement and joy. We discussed our love for the lost, evangelism, prayer, and revival. We had no clue what God was up too, or what we were getting ourselves into, but God had a plan. Our first hangouts were saturated in prayer through walks, gatherings, and miracles from the Lord. Those miracles included people coming into a saving knowledge of faith in Christ as their Savior, soup being turned into steaks, climbing down treacherous mountains throughout these adventures we did not know it yet but our hearts were being knitted together. We spent time with families in their last moments of life not knowing that our moment was just beginning. Neither of us had plans for our future but God had a plan for us.

Our first date...

6/1/2019

Zach was driving around the corner to pick Nora up to take her to dinner for her birthday. He drove around the corner and his heart dropped. They went to dinner on the Avila Pier at Olde Port Inn. They dropped the crab net a few times into the water and did not catch much. During dinner, the conversation was saturated with the presence of the Lord, filled with love, laughter, and life. We were celebrating Nora's birthday, made friends, read the Word, and prayed. On our last casting of the net, we finally caught something, and also caught each other at the same time. Three crabs were the sign that Nora prayed for, to enter into a courtship with Zach. This is how our love for one another began. They were both filled with joy not knowing what God had in store for them.

Proposal

9/29/2019

It wouldn't be Zach and Nora's proposal if it didn't include an adventure. Zach and Nora had talked about marriage for weeks. Zach planned a date and everything was set. His dad set up a table with wine, flowers, Bible, glass cross, and everything needed to make it just right. Though Nora had said, yes before, this was the date to finalize everything they had discussed. Nora walked ahead of Zach, saw the table, the chairs, the wine, the cross, the banner saying, Will You Marry Me. Zach got down on one knee Nora turned around and said, "no not yet." Now some people might find this crazy and think that Zach coerced her into saying yes, but that is not the case. Nora prayed, as she is a mighty prayer warrior in the Lord, and doing what she does best, she sought God, about making a decision of a lifetime. Zach was praying as well, during what seemed like 30 minutes, Nora had reached a decision. As they sat overlooking the ocean, Nora came and said yes, to marry this man of God.
