Getting to Steamboat Springs There are a few easy ways to get to Steamboat for the wedding, which will take place near the base of the Steamboat Ski Area: Drive – Steamboat is about a 3-hour drive from Denver International Airport (DIA). Fly – You can book a connecting flight into Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN), just 27 miles from town. Major airlines include United and Southwest. Bus – The Bustang Outrider offers service between Denver and Steamboat. Visit ridebustang.com for routes and schedules. Shuttles and rental cars are available from both airports to help you get around once you're here.
