Artesa Vineyards & Winery
We visited Artesa during our first trip to Napa together and fell in love with this special place (and each other of course). With breathtaking panoramic views from a perfectly situated hilltop tasting terrace and award winning wines, this is our absolute favorite spot in Napa for a wine tasting! It is a short 5-7 minute drive from Carneros Resort and a MUST while visiting in Napa.
Napa Valley Wine Train
Explore Napa Valley on a restored historic train offering a scenic wine country tour and locally sourced American fare. The Napa Valley Wine Train takes you on a 36-mile round-trip discovery to St. Helena and back, stopping at celebrated wineries along the way.
Domaine Carneros
Looks like a European castle, famous for their sparkling wines. Very close to Carneros Resort (you can even borrow bikes from the resort and bike over).
Cuvaison Estate Wines
Modern/ chic tasting room with gorgeous views of the valley. Also, very close to Carneros Resort. They offer a vineyard hike followed by a tasting and a boxed lunch from Carneros Resort. You can book an appointment on their website.
Oxbow Public Market
Located in downtown Napa, Oxbow Public Market is a 40,000 square foot market place featuring tons of different shops and restaurants with great food and wine. Good for a coffee and quick breakfast or a glass of wine and some oysters.
Boon Fly Café
Delicious casual dining spot at Carneros Resort and FANTASTIC for brunch. PRO-TIP: Definitely try their famous sugar mini donuts. You won't regret it, we promise!
La Toque
This is where Zach wined and dined Melissa for her "21st" birthday in November 2020. If you are a foodie looking to splurge on a mouth-watering romantic date night, then look no further. Chef Ken Frank's formal bistro located in the Westin Verasa Hotel will not disappoint! La Toque is the embodiment of the traditional, old-school Napa dining experience. We recommend springing for the nine-course tasting menu - it's totally worth it, promise!
Angele Restaurant & Bar
Delicious French bistro-style restaurant located in downtown Napa. Be sure to try their French onion soup!
Tour Downtown Napa
Downtown Napa has great shops, restaurants, and wine tasting salons. Spend an afternoon walking around and enjoying it's little city-center by the Napa River.
Bike the Vine Trail
Rent bikes and either take a tour or go for a leisurely cruise through the valley. The surrounding foliage is gorgeous during this time of year!
