Question

Why Camp Onaway?

Answer

Camp Onaway is a very special place for us. Meg was a camper there for 13 summers, and it’s long felt like a second home. Meg and Zach met in New Hampshire, and Newfound Lake—where the camp is located—holds so many of our favorite memories together. We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to bring together the people we love most.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dressy-casual for the ceremony (sundresses, button-downs, nice flats) and comfortable clothes for the rest of the weekend. We recommend sturdy or flat shoes—you’ll be walking through the woods to reach the ceremony site, and heels aren’t ideal for the terrain. Be sure to bring layers for chilly evenings.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome all weekend and invited to everything except the Saturday night after-party. Please include their names and ages in the RSVP form so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

You may stay in one of the cabins at camp or choose from one of the local hotels listed under travel.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to/from hotels?

Answer

There is plenty of parking onsite for those staying the weekend or driving in for the day. No shuttle service will be provided.

Question

What should I know about camp lodging?

Answer

Free on-site lodging is available, or guests can book local hotels nearby. • Cabins are double occupancy – couples or friends will be paired together • Each cabin group shares a bathroom and a nearby shower house with multiple stalls . • Guests should bring sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels • If flying in and can’t pack linens, include in your RSVP form and we’ll coordinate extras via local friends/family • Bring flip-flops for the shower house and comfortable walking shoes—there’s a short walk through the woods to the ceremony site (we recommend avoiding heels!) • We’ll assign cabins after the RSVP deadline • We can’t guarantee lodging for late RSVPs

Question

What if I forget something?

Answer

We’ll have extra essentials at the welcome table (bug spray, sunscreen, toiletries). If you’re flying and need linens, just note that on the RSVP form—we’ll coordinate with local friends and family to help provide them.

Question

What is the address of the ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

The venue is a summer camp located at - Camp Onaway 27 Camp Onaway Rd, Hebron, NH 03241.

Question

Will you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! Go to the Registry tab to see our full wedding registry.

Question

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is 90 minutes from camp. Boston International and Portland International are each 2.5 hours from camp. If you're flying, you'll need to rent a car or coordinate a ride with others—Uber and Lyft are very limited in the area.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high in August is around 80 with the average low being around 55.

Question

Are there any group events planned over the weekend I should be aware of?

Answer

Yes! See the Schedule tab for more details on planned events over the weekend.

Question

Will there be swimming?

Answer

Yes! Swimming is available during designated times when lifeguards are present.

Question

Will there be cell service or Wi-Fi?

Answer

It’s limited! We recommend downloading directions ahead of time and embracing a tech-free weekend. Printed maps and schedules will be available at check-in.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

On-site parking will be available at camp. Signage and friendly helpers will direct you when you arrive.

Question

What’s the plan if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. In case of rain, we’ll move things indoors. Dinner and dancing will be under a tent—pack a layer or raincoat just in case!

Question

Will alcohol be served? Can I bring my own?

Answer

Alcohol will be served! We’ll have beer, wine, a couple of signature cocktails, and a signature mocktail. Please don’t bring your own—there will be plenty to enjoy!

Question

What else is there to do in the area?

Answer

We’d love for you to make a weekend (or week!) out of it. From nature walks to local breweries, there’s so much to explore nearby. You can find our curated list of favorite spots on the Things To Do tab.
