Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm
The ever-growing herd of more than 50 alpacas enjoys the gentle slopes of sunny pastures and the shade of massive 100 year oaks. Stroll around the farm, then browse an extraordinary selection of alpaca sweaters, coats, and cuddly alpaca toys in the Country Store.
San Juan Kayak Expeditions
Take a 3 hour or half day guided sea kayak tour around the San Juan Islands.
Bike Around the Island
There are a few different bike rental places in Friday Harbor (Cycle SanJuan, Discovery Adventure, and Meat Machine Cycles). Their websites recommend making reservations in the summer months if you know this is something you want to do!
Fresh Donuts at the Lime Kiln Cafe
Take a 20 min drive across the island and head to Roche Harbor Resort. Explore the resort and marina, then stop at the Lime Kiln Cafe for some world famous doughnuts that are made fresh every morning (they are delicious!).
Friday Harbor Farmer's Market
Stroll around the market on Saturday morning before the wedding. It is open from 9:30am-1pm and filled with fresh produce, art and yummy food.
Pelindaba Lavender Farm
Head to this 20 acre beautiful lavender farm and hand cut your own lavender bouquet and go on a free tour given only in July and August. Luckily enough, July is peak "purpleness"!
