FAQs

If you have any additional questions that aren't listed below, feel free to text or email us!
Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles running from 2:40-3:30pm between downtown Friday Harbor and Saltwater Farm on the wedding day. There are two pick-up locations, one in front of Friday Harbor House and another by Tucker House Inn. Shuttles will also run from 10pm-midnight to take people from the venue to downtown Friday Harbor at the end of the night. Look for a bus that says San Juan Transit on the side.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see the schedule page for all the list of events. We are so fortunate to have this venue space for 3 days and we want to take advantage of it. Please come to as many events as you wish!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are 38 parking spots at the venue. On Friday for the mix and mingle there will be additional parking available at Skagit Valley College across the road from the venue (there will be signs guiding you to the area). On Saturday for the wedding day we will not have access to the Skagit Valley College parking lot. Please plan to take the shuttles or use one of the 38 spots at the venue.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know and we will pass it on to our caterer to make sure there are options available to you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 min prior to the ceremony to mingle and get settled in. There is a 5 min walk from the parking area to the ceremony site, so please plan accordingly

Question

What will the weather be in July on San Juan Island?

Answer

We expect that it will be fairly warm during the day, think mid 70s to mid 80s, but will likely cool off at night.

Question

Where do I park and how do I get to the ceremony site at Saltwater Farms?

Answer

Saltwater Farms is 162-acres, so we want to make sure you are able to find each event area within the venue. Click on the link below to see a map of the venue: https://www.saltwaterfarmsji.com/more-info-venue

Question

What are my late night food and drink options on the island?

Answer

Unfortunately, not much. Restaurants, bars and grocery stores close early on the island, so plan accordingly and pack some snacks!
