Wedding Week Activities

Welcome Dinner

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

After you settle in and get your bags unpacked, we want to start the week off together with a delicious Italian meal and wine.

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Today we are going to a local winery for a light lunch and wine tasting. We are planning on all having dinner together at a local trattoria, La Grotta di Tiburzi.

Drink Until you Nap on the Bus

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

This is a 7 hour all day guided tour to visit wineries in the Chianti region. We will be picked up in the morning by our guide and depart in air conditioned vans. We will visit 2-3 wineries and taste several varieties of wine, olive oil and have a gourmet lunch.

Siena Exploration

9:00 am

Today we explore Siena, a city which has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. As an optional addition, you can participate with us in a private cooking class at the Dante Alighieri Siena. It will be a hands-on lesson with a professional chef where we learn to make a full traditional menu of four courses. Then we will eat and drink wine on their panoramic terrace.

Today you can explore the Tuscan countryside on your own since we have to go to the Town Hall to declare our marriage!

The Big Day

We did it! To celebrate becoming the Leonards let's do what we do best, lounge around and eat BBQ! This is our last full day at the Villa, so soak it all in!

Departures

Sadly this is the last day we have the villa. We cannot express how grateful we are that you took a week of your time to spend with us. We hope you all enjoyed every minute in this beautiful country and get home safely. Eat your last scoops of gelato, and try not to cry that you won't be able to wake up to these views anymore!
